Payment & Delivery Policy
To ensure the highest level of security, compliance, and local service for our North Georgia neighbors, The Corner Co. utilizes a Two-Part Transaction Model.
By placing an order, you agree to the following terms:
1. The Service Fee (Online)
Commitment to Delivery: To secure your spot on our daily route, a non-refundable Delivery & Logistics Fee is collected at the moment of online checkout.
Purpose: This fee covers the cost of our local courier, real-time GPS tracking, and the specialized ageverification technology used to ensure every order is handled legally under the PACT Act and Georgia state law. Confirmation: Your order is not considered “Active” until this service fee is successfully processed.
2. The Product Balance (At the Door)
Pay-on-Delivery: The remaining balance for your curated essentials (Vapes, Hemp, or Nicotine) is collected only when our driver arrives at your delivery address.
Accepted Methods: For the safety of our drivers, we are a cashless service. Our couriers carry secure mobile terminals that accept:
All major Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover).
Contactless “Tap-to-Pay” (Apple Pay and Google Pay).
Finality: Once the transaction is processed at the door, the sale is final.
3. The Mandatory ID Protocol
In strict accordance with Georgia Code § 48-11-4.2, we cannot release any products or process the final payment without a valid, government-issued photo ID proving the recipient is 21 years of age or older.
The Process: Our driver will scan the barcode on the back of your ID using our encrypted compliance software.
The “No-Match” Rule: If a valid 21+ ID is not present, or if the person who placed the order is not available to sign, the delivery will be cancelled. The online service fee will not be refunded, as the logistics attempt was fulfilled.
4. Security & Privacy
The Corner Co. prioritizes your data. We use industry standard encryption for online payments, and our mobile terminals are PCI-compliant. We do not store images of your ID; our system only records the necessary verification data required for our 3-year state audit trail.
